Cara Moeller, APRN, CBDCE joined the practice in 2015. She has received her undergraduate degree in nursing from Salve Regina University, and her nurse practitioner degree from the University of Rhode Island. Since 2011, Cara has also been involved with Camp Surefire, Rhode Island’s only summer camp for children with diabetes. Cara herself has had T1DM since she was 10 years old. Cara has been nationally certified to educate and care for patients with diabetes since 2014. Cara received Nurse Educator of the year in 2019 from the Rhode Island Certified Diabetes Outpatient Educators.
She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Rhode Island. Cara is married and has 2 children. She enjoys beach days, gardening and is kept busy by her daughter and son at home.
